Get to Know the UNT System Culture
Objective:
To introduce new UNT System employees to the culture of UNT System and set them up for success from their first day, all new hired executives, faculty, and staff will attend orientation. Orientation is offered frequently. Ensure your new employee refers to their welcome email for their scheduled orientation date and the orientation is added to their calendar.
New employee orientation will provide new employees an opportunity to:

- Learn more about UNT System's Purpose, Vision and Values
- Learn about Board of Regents, the Chancellor, the Cabinet Members, and the campus Presidents
- Learn UNT System's organizational chart
- Meet, interact, and have conversations with other new employees
- Learn more about the culture of the campus and ways to deepen connection with organization
- Learn how to find resources related to compliance requirements, policies, benefits, and retirement offerings, ID badges (UNT Denton/Frisco Campus, UNT Dallas Campus, or HSC Campus), parking (UNT Denton/Frisco Campus, UNT Dallas Campus, or UNT HSC Campus), technology and safety trainings
