Title IX
The University of North Texas System is committed to ensuring an educational and employment environment that is free of discrimination and harassment on the basis of sex.
Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 is the federal statute that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. It reads:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.

Wanda Boyd supports each campus and System Administration while collaborating with UNT’s Office of Equal Opportunity. Her more than 27 years of experience spans the full spectrum of human resources. Her most recent experience focuses on federal and state law compliance, and overall employment relations with a dedication to investigations, mitigating grievances and developing strategic solutions and recommendations.
