Emergency Leave/Administrative Leave/Leaving during an Agency Investigation

Emergency Leave includes bereavement time for the death in a family.  An employee is granted Leave not to exceed three (3) days.

  • Requests for Leave exceeding three days must be approved by the department official.
  • Requests for Leave for a family member not covered under the policy must be approved by the Chancellor or President of each campus.

Administrative Leave is granted as a reward for outstanding performance up to a maximum of 32 hours each fiscal year.  Administrative Leave does not roll forward.

Leave During Agency Investigation grants leave to a staff member without loss of regular pay when the employee is the subject of, a victim of, or witness to events that are the subject matter of an investigation.
