UNT System is comprised of four institutions, University of North Texas (UNT), Health Science Center (UNTHSC or HSC), University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD), and University of North Texas System Administration. We are the only values-based university system exclusively located in the North Texas area. The system offers more than 300 bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral degree programs, with an ever-increasing enrollment of over 49,000 students.

President Smatresk

President Neal has been president for 9 years of the UNT Denton Campus.  Under his guidance, UNT has been named a Tier One research university, and enrollment has grown to over 42,000 students.

HSC President Trent-Adams

President Trent-Adams

Dr. Sylvia Trent-Adams was appointed HSC president after Dr. Williams became Chancellor in September of 2022.

She is a Veteran and has a great distinguished career.  She was the first black woman to serve as the Deputy Surgeon General of the U.S Public Health Service Commissioned Corp., then the first black woman to rise to the level of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health.

UNT Dallas President Mong

President Mong

Robert Mong has served as the President of the University of North Texas at Dallas and its College of Law since 2015.

Before joining UNT Dallas, Mong worked as a journalist for more than 40 years, most of it at The Dallas Morning News, where he served as managing editor and later as editor-in-chief.
