HR Departments

UNT System HR is split into three distinct groups: HR Core, HR Campus & Organizational Effectiveness, that all work together to better serve our UNT World customers. Our HR Core contains our shared services that administer care to every institution. HR Campus teams specifically serve the campus in which they are housed. By adding Organizational Effectiveness to the human resources structure, the UNT System puts an emphasis on strategic and transformational processes that will benefit UNTS campuses, as well as system administration.

HR Core

Talent Acquisition - Recruiting and hiring, helps managers identify qualified candidates to support department and location strategies. Assists current and potential employees with job search within the UNT System.

Organizational Development & Engagement - Performance evaluations, leadership and coaching, helps employees identify opportunities to expand skills in current jobs and learn new information that supports career growth.

Compensation - Compensation, personnel records inquiries, requests for PeopleSoft data, and information services.

Benefits - Works with leadership to manage benefits and total rewards strategies that help attract and retain employees.

HRIS - Human Resources Information Services, is a group of dedicated technical staff, woven in the HR fabric for quick response time and able to speak and understand functional processes and language. HRIS helps employees with security access to EIS (HCM/Payroll) and provides HR/Payroll data and analysis to department users and senior leadership.

HR Campus

Campus HR Teams - Campus HR teams are available to provide in-person assistance and support for faculty and staff on the UNT Denton campus, the UNT Dallas campus and the Health Science Center campus.

Organizational Effectiveness

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion - Provides partnership, leadership and management to fully realize equity, diversity and inclusion as active strategies for achieving equal opportunity and capitalizing on our most valued human resource

EEO - Provides information about programs related to equal opportunity and non- discrimination in the workplace.

Strategic & Operational Effectiveness- Manages strategic projects identified by the Board of Regents and Chancellor.
