UNT Faculty, Excellence & Staff Appreciation Awards

It’s time to nominate your colleagues for the 2020 Presidential, Faculty Excellence and Staff Appreciation awards. Recognizing UNT’s best of the best is a way for us to shine a spotlight on the dedication and enthusiasm that goes into making our university an exceptional place to work, teach and learn. Please thoughtfully consider recognizing your colleagues who embody the UNT spirit, work ethic and commitment to service. For assistance in writing the perfect STAFF award nomination, UNT System Human Resources will host a writing workshop on Oct. 29. This workshop is designed to aid and support our staff populations that may not have regular access to a computer, or may not write frequentlyin their daily job responsibilities.

All UNT faculty, staff members and students are eligible to submit nominations for staff awards. The nomination window closes Thursday, Oct. 31.

UNT Dallas Holds Town Hall; Celebrates Enrollment Milestone

UNT Dallas President Bob Mong held his annual fall Town Hall event for faculty and staff on October 11. UNTD once again set a new standard for enrollment this fall, eclipsing the 4,000-student mark for the first time. Official enrollment for Fall 2019 is 4,059. "The strategies we have implemented to recruit local urban Dallas students, combined with the unwavering hard work of our faculty and staff, are paying off as we continue to grow our enrollment at a record pace," Mong said.


UNTHSC Collaboration Paves the Way for Performance

A dynamic dream for performing arts has come to fruition with a new health and wellness collaboration. UNTHSC, UNT, Denton ISD and the Texas Center for Performing Arts Health will work with performers and students from K-12 and beyond.
